(ANSA) - BARI, JUNE 09 - The Ministry of Labour has summoned it to start the joint examination of the request for extraordinary layoffs in derogation made by Acciaierie d'Italia starting from June 20 for a maximum number of 2,500 workers at the Taranto plant and for a period of one year (or, alternatively, until December 31, 2023).
The meeting is convened for June 13 at 11 am in hybrid mode (in presence at the headquarters of the Ministry of Labor and by video link). In all the other sites ofAcciaierie the duration of the cigs, taken on 29 March (always extended) was already 12 months, while in Taranto it had been set until 19 June, the date of reaching the maximum capacity limit of the shock absorbers usable in the mobile five-year period.
The letter of convocation for the meeting of June 13 is addressed to Acciaierie d'Italia, to the unions Fim, Fiom, Uilm, Usb, Ugl Metalmeccanici, Fismic, Lmo, Cisal, Ministry of Companies and Made in Italy and the Puglia Region. (ANSA).
