The first part of the crossover between the two flagship shows of France 5 is broadcast this Saturday night. We were on the set in Anger

It's not just the big American series that make crossovers, it's the meeting between two programs! Two flagship shows of France 5, "Échappées belles" and "Silence, ça pousse" operated an ephemeral marriage during a joint shooting. The first will be broadcast this Saturday night and the second, on June 24 at 11:45 am! The globetrotter Jérôme Pitorin joined Carole Tolila and Stéphane Marie, their shovels and rakes... in Angers! Not very exotic? However, the city of Anjou, on the banks of the Maine, is a small gem to discover, especially for its horticultural sector that has attracted production teams.

"This is the garden of the France," says Stéphane Marie, the PAF's best-known gardener. In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, plants sailed up the river to Paris and, sometimes, stopped there. This has produced a nursery of incredible richness"

Since then, the green reputation of the city has not weakened, the Angevin city has even been elected "greenest city in France" and again classified "first city where life is good". So many arguments to put your cameras there

"Exoticism can be around the corner"

As the concept of the show "Silence, ça pousse" suggests, a challenge is proposed to the teams of France Télévisions: transform and revegetate a place now empty, located in the extension of the museum of contemporary tapestry Jean-Lurçat. Objective: to make it a relaxing, beautiful and friendly space. And this time, they find Jérôme Pitorin from "Échappées belles". He gleansideas for a stay for a weekend.

"Exoticism can be around the corner," says the host. It's nice to meet again, we don't know each other that well because we don't live in the same region. I love this experience. Especially since even if the plant speaks to me, I live in an apartment. I would love to have a vegetable garden, because I love to cook. »

In an exchange of good practices, Stéphane Marie and his sidekick came, on their side, to kayak. "I love this character of Stéphane, he is assertive, he speaks loudly, he says passionate things, and he is very cash and I like that. He is very sensitive behind his exuberance," says Jérôme Pitorin, whispering so as not to disturb the sound recordist.

Teams that need to work together

As usual, Stéphane Marie for this new site begins with an inventory and then launches into his famous sketches that rethink the place. While he is sketching his hedges and outdoor decorations in the middle of a hundred colored markers spread on a table in the garden, he confides.

"I've kept them all in a safe at home since the beginning of the show fifteen years ago," he warns us between two strokes. A drawing, it does not throw away, I also made coloring books. And when I take out the old ones, I see that I was in a more pointillist phase, and I realize the evolution of my trait. »

He, too, liked this concept of double emission. "It's good to have a chain spirit, we had already done it once (with the house France 5). It's a new experience that changes everything, it shakes the peanut a little. It changes everything in terms of filming, the teams have to work together, and we tackle new subjects. It's a lot of fun!
