The card against the cost of food life "is a rule provided for in the stability law. We have opened, let's say, a negotiation with employers' organizations and large retailers to obtain the possibility of adding an investment in terms of additional discounts of up to 15%. With regard to income, it will have a ceiling of 15 thousand euros and this should lead, from the calculations made by INPS together with Anci, to an evaluation of about one million and 400 thousand cards that will contain 382 euros made available to families who have difficulty buying with a series of exclusions among those who already benefit from other supports ", explained the minister today arriving in Manduria for the exhibition 'Forum in masseria' in the estate of Bruno Vespa.

When asked if, for example, those who enjoy the citizenship income or inclusion income will be excluded from the new card, the minister replied: "The details are provided for in the legislation and in these hours INPS is making calculations to make the best use of the economic capacity of the measure". The minister added that "the card can be activated by September 30 and all the residues of the cards not activated will be redistributed in the cards of those who activated them".

"We must help the support of the cart and therefore already in the second half of July - said Lollobrigida yesterday - almost one and a half million Italian families will receive a card that will allow them to have a contribution to reduce costs and expenses related to the food growth of primary goods".
This intervention, he continued, "is added to another fund that this year will invest 110 million for the purchase of food that will be distributed instead to those poor who do not emerge through the exceptional work of third sector operators, of the many volunteers who in Italy help and support those who cannot move forward given the increase in costs".
Lollobrigida also specified that the cards "will be distributed in post offices and to families who receive the letter. It is a calculation that INPS is making on the basis of the 500 million allocated, which are divided together INPS and Anci, which is the national association representing municipalities, which allows to intervene on a parterre of about 1,400,000 families ".
This, he continued, "will allow you to have not only the 500 million, but also a very important discount within all the commercial activities that will join the project. For example, after an important negotiation, we have convinced the large-scale distribution to a broad solidarity intervention that will see a 15% discount on the products concerned as primary and in addition in these discounts will be added to those already in place within the chains themselves".
