Jewels and accessories that alone animate the face if not the entire look, are the new trend consolidated in the edition of Homi Fashion & Jewels September 2023, at Fieramilano (Rho). The 560 brands present, 46% from abroad, present the autumn/winter collections and on display there are fashion accessories and jewelry suitable for the cold seasons, in an increasingly creative hybridization with clothing.
The headgear is then evaluated, transforming even the most unusual ones into an elegant version. Like the balaclava that becomes ironic with special prints or embroidery, evening with bright inserts or rock with long pigtails that frame it. Even the beret-jewel is suitable for important moments while the leather one for more aggressive clothing. In the same vein also the basketball hat or the fisherman's hat in fur. The transformation of jewels and bijoux continues more and more sculptural and anatomical. The rings no longer surround only the phalanx, but cover the entire finger through a cast on which they are mounted. The bracelets can pass from the wrist to the forearm up to stand on the hand at the height of the knuckles. They become even more one with clothing if worn on the sleeve of a sweater, achieving the dual purpose of enriching a garment and not letting the cold pass. Earrings invade the entire ear and more and more often they are so elaborate and long to the shoulders or beyond that only one is enough. The necklaces, as already seen during the summer, almost replace tops and t-shirts.
What makes all these metamorphoses possible are above all the lighter and more ductile materials. And of course the imagination of the companies, which animate Homi Fashion, often since it did not yet have the shape of the current hub. Like the Lodi De Liguoro that celebrates its 60 years of activity at the Fair and has showcased collections of recent decades.
