Waiting for the debut on the catwalk in Milan on September 22 of the first collection designed by Sabato De Sarno, Gucci launches the images of the new campaign dedicated to jewelry, the first of the post-Alessandro Michele era, signed by De Sarno, which has as its protagonist the model Daria Werbowy.
The supermodel wears the Marina Chain jewelry collection, and is shot by photographer David Sims' lens. The campaign, along with those who contributed to its creation, celebrates Saturday's debut in the fashion world, which dates back many years, as well as his debut as creative director of Gucci.
The Marina Chain jewelry collection, whose distinctive design is inspired by the chain of an anchor, was introduced in the late 60s in the form of a bracelet.
Reinterpreted in the following decades, the Marina Chain motif has become an iconic element of Gucci's history and a symbolic collection of the house's jewelry.
The campaign was shot at Château Marmont in Los Angeles and embodies Sabato De Sarno's vision of a story that develops freely, but always eloquently.
