The nomination committee of Mediobanca proposes to the board of directors of the bank, which will meet on Wednesday, a shortlist of names for the new board of directors which does not include representatives of Delfin or the Caltagirone group. This was learned at the end of the meeting of the committee which, on the one hand, took note of Delfin's rejection of the proposal of the board of directors of Mediobanca and, on the other, judged that the requests on governance reiterated by the holding company of the Del Vecchio family, which insisted, among other things, on the replacement of Renato Pagliaro with a new independent and shared chairman, were not acceptable.
