On the antenna of France Inter, this Wednesday, the Franco-British singer has already confirmed her presence. She did not hide her excitement to meet King Charles III. "I put on a long dress and everything, I play the game thoroughly!" said the daughter of Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin at the microphone of Léa Salamé. "Today I thought, 'It's my father and mother who are fighting. Will I go to its museum opening or see the King of England? I chose the King of England!'" she continued with a smile. And the journalist decides: "It was your mother who won."
Charlotte Gainsbourg is not the only Franco-British actress invited by the Macron couple. Indeed, according to information from Le Parisien, Kristin Scott Thomas is also expected in Versailles, but also Emma Mackey, a 27-year-old actress who saw her career take off thanks to the hit Netflix series Sex Education.
Hugh Grant, Mick Jagger and Ken Follett
According to RMC, King Charles III and Queen Camilla will also be able to count on the presence of a well-known face of cinema: actor Hugh Grant, a regular in romantic comedies and famous for his role in Love at first sight in Notting Hill. For their part, photographer Yann Arthus Bertrand, Welsh novelist Ken Follett, Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger, actor Guillaume Gallienne and violinist Renaud Capuçon also received their invitation to the Palace of Versailles.
The world of sport will not be left out. Indeed, tennis player Amélie Mauresmo, winner of the Wimbledon tournament in 2006, and Arsène Wenger, manager of Arsenal for 22 years, will take part in this state dinner that promises to be majestic. Just like former footballers Patrick Vieira and Didier Drogba, or Tony Estanguet, president of the organizing committee of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Marie-Amélie Le Fur, president of the French Paralympic and Sports Committee, and Florian Grill, president of the French Rugby Federation, are also invited, notes RMC.

The big bosses are part of the "party"
On the side of politicians, Emmanuel Macron invited the President of the Senate Gérard Larcher and the President of the National Assembly Yaël Braun-Pivet to join him to celebrate Charles III. MPs and members of the government (including Elisabeth Borne, Gérald Darmanin, Sébastien Lecornu, Rima Abdul-Malak, Laurence Boone) will also toast in honour of the King and Queen of England. They will be joined by former tenors of politics, such as Laurent Fabius, Jack Lang or Pierre Moscovici.
Still according to RMC, the economic world will be represented by several big bosses. Bernard Arnault, Xavier Niel and Rodolphe Saadé should taste blue lobster and Bresse poultry alongside "His Majesty The King".
