The Alsatian tarte flambée has a break today

Because we prefer it vegetarian! Try our delicious version with beetroot, pear, goat's cheese and honey. You won't regret it. Promised!

Here's how to do it:

You only need a few ingredients:

  • Cream:
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • Tarte flambée:
  • 1 pack (à 260 g) tarte flambée dough on the refrigerated shelf
  • Beetroot, peeled and sliced
  • Pear, sliced
  • Red onion, cut into rings
  • Walnuts
  • Thyme
  • Goat cheese
  • Honey

It only takes a few minutes to prepare:

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C convection.
  • For the cream: Mix sour cream with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  • Remove the tarte flambée dough from the packaging and roll it out on a baking sheet. Brush evenly with sour cream cream.
  • Top the tarte flambée with beetroot, pear, onions, walnuts and goat's cheese. Season with fresh thyme leaves.
  • Bake for 18 minutes until golden brown, until desired crispiness.
  • Drizzle with honey before serving.
