Undersecretary of State AlfredoMantovano has ordered that the President Emeritus of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano be celebrated the funeral of the State.
It will not be necessary to convene an extraordinary Cdm. "Following the death of the President Emeritus of the Republicsenator by right and for life Giorgio Napolitano - reads the provision - from 22 September 2023 until the day of the celebration of the State funeral, the display at half-mast of the national and European flags on public buildings throughout the national territory and on the offices of Italian diplomatic and consular representations abroad is arranged. The day of the celebrations of the state funeral will be declared national mourning".
