Winter will not slow down the Ukrainian counteroffensive, Kiev's general leading the operation on the southern front line, Oleksandr Tarnavsky, told CNN. "The weather can be a serious obstacle during the advance, but considering how we move, mostly without vehicles, I don't think it will heavily affect the counteroffensive," Tarnavsky said, stressing that the biggest breakthrough is yet to come. "I think it will happen after Tokmak," he said, referring to the Ukrainian town in the Zaporizhzhia region, which has become a strategic hub for Russia and Ukraine's first major target in the south.
