All the fault of a cyclone that from the Sea of Liguria moved quickly towards the southern regions. With it came very strong thunderstorms, 3 tornadoes in the North and crazy hailstorms. The equinoctial cyclone will negatively affect the weather in the South at least until Tuesday, initially also over Abruzzo and Molise. Subsequently, a high pressure field will prevail over Italy. Its presence will become increasingly cumbersome, not only in Italy, but even on almost all of the Old Continent.
Autumn will turn around in favor of the return of summer weather. If until Tuesday thunderstorms with heavy rain will affect the southern regions, then the good weather will be prevalent, the sky largely clear or at least little cloudy, but above all the temperatures will return to increase significantly after the current sharp drop. With the anticyclone the maximum values will be able to rise, once again, above the average of the period of almost 10 ° C. During the day in the Centre-North it will touch again 29-32 ° C and gradually also in the South. Even night temperatures, in significant decline in these days, will start to rise approaching 20 ° C. This new phase of stable and warm weather could last at least until October 6-7, after which a new very unstable phase could return.

Wednesday 27. In the north: sunny and summer heat. In the middle: full summer. In the south: mostly sunny except for the last thunderstorms in Calabria, occasional on the Ionian Sicily. Trend: reinforcing anticyclone, prevailing sun and above average heat.
