An "exceptional and historic agreement", with "significant gains and protections for the screenwriters (...) on all points of the agreement". This Sunday, the Writers Guild of America (WGA) – the union of American screenwriters – announced that it had reached an agreement in principle with the American studios (Netflix, Disney, Universal, Warner Bros Discovery ...), which should end the strike started on May 2 and which paralyzes Hollywood. But it is still necessary that the agreement is signed and that the discussions between the actors and the studios, still blocked, advance in their turn.
