A boost of energy

In an interview with People in 2022, the father of Maxima, August and Aurelia Chan said about his new hobby that it gave him a "boost of energy". In the community, many fighters applaud Mark Zuckerberg's determination. Dave Camarillo, a renowned MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) trainer congratulated him in a post shared last May on Instagram. "I have had the privilege of seeing extraordinary people accomplish extraordinary things in my career. And I was honored to play a small role in their lives," it read. He added: "It's inspiring to see someone so famous challenge themselves in a new arena. This shows how amazing the art of jiu-jitsu is. It changes you - it's magical."
During the summer, Elon Musk, owner of X (ex-Twitter), had even challenged Zuckerberg for an MMA fight, a date had even been set, but the boss of Meta had put an end to the rumors on August 13.
