Two days before the show, Chanel always sends a teaser of its collection. A video signed by the duo of photographers Inez & Vinoodh that reveals the spirit of the show. This season, therefore, head for the villa Noailles. This masterpiece of modernist architecture designed, at the request of Charles and Marie-Laure de Noailles by Robert Mallet-Stevens, overlooks the city of Hyères and, this year, celebrates its centenary. A place steeped in history, which has become an icon of modernity, and which hosts every year the Hyères Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories, an international event dedicated to young creation of which Chanel has been a partner since 2014.

Tuesday, 10:30 am, inside the Grand Palais Éphémère on Place Joffre, the walls are decorated with colorful and oversized flower panels and offer an ideal postcard of summer in the gardens of the Villa Noailles overlooking the bay. It is also very hot inside the show that welcomes the front row friends starred or great ambassadors of the house. In the race for celebrities who do not escape any show, Chanel is one of the great houses that attract lights from around the world: Penélope Cruz, Riley Keough, Usher, Brie Larson, Amandla Stenberg, Jennie of Blackpink settle. The collection tells the story of a cool girl who takes up her summer quarters in villas bathed in light and comes out in pop and beachwear outfits very couture (Paris Hilton should love it). Tweed and flip flop on the feet
Chanel girls will stroll this summer on the beach or by the pool in a pop pink or midnight blue one-piece swimsuit, worn under multicolored bathrobe capes and black flip-flops on the feet (the most noticed flip flop of the season). For the city, it will be flat ballerinas and tailored jacket with asymmetrical tweed miniskirt that reveal the legs. A sun pleated top, striped Bermuda shorts, jeans closed by a pearl belt and a sweater carelessly tied at the waist, everything is chic at home but in the most perfect carefree. Ode to Freedom
The bouquets of flowers and patchworks of pastel tiles emphasize her summer look, the sailor stripes that invite themselves everywhere to the bottom socks remind us that she is by the sea while the transparency of her dresses, shirts, petticoats or bras worn with two-tone sky blue boots with a black rhythm tip, her, her starry evenings.
