While many employers complain about the unfilled jobs, the shortage benefits others: career changers now have the best chance of a new start in an exciting profession. This is because the German economy is suffering from a shortage of skilled workers in many areas. Since there are not enough qualified applicants to fill all the vacancies, there are so many opportunities for career changers.

The reasons for a job change are often manifold: frustration at work, the desire for personal development, new interests or a growing need for self-determination motivate most career changers. But a low salary, lack of recognition or the fear of dismissal can also be the driving force behind a job change. As a career changer, different industries are open to you.
