Cisl in the streets on November 25 to improve the Maneuver

On Saturday, November 25 at 10:00 a.m., the CISL will descend on Piazza Santi Apostoli, in Rome, to give life to a national demonstration entitled "Participate to grow: improve the Maneuver, build a new Social Pact". This is announced in a statement by the National Secretariat of the Confederation, "which today exercised the mandate received from the Executive Committee of the Via Po union. " It will be a day of mobilization in which we intend to press the Government and Parliament on the improvements to be made to the Budget Law, but also to indicate the way of a development strategy fully participated by the social parties". "We will raise the flags of a responsible, autonomous, pragmatic, intransigent union, which demands more answers in the Economic Maneuver, starting with pensions, with a reversal on the rigidities introduced in the flexibility rules and on rates and returns of pension treatments of some categories," adds the CISL. "We are asking for more resources on health, education, local authorities, with the unblocking of hiring and the stabilization of precariousness, stronger tools against poverty, support for disability and non-self-sufficiency. And we will give the Government, the business system and also the other trade unions, the compass of a Trade Union Agenda based on social protagonism in the identification of growth and cohesion policies. It means improving the Manoeuvre, but also going further, looking at the full implementation of the NRRP, the necessary path of reforms, the renewal of public and private contracts, the definition of a new Social Pact". "On this Agenda, the CISL urges all the responsible actors who care about the quantitative and qualitative relaunch of work and a restart that makes use of every competence and every reformist energy of the country".

CGIL and UIL, opportune strike, 5 days of mobilization from 17 November

"There are three major issues - work, taxation and social security - on which the budget does not respond to our requests and our unitary proposals. Faced with this situation, CGIL and UIL have deemed it appropriate to proclaim an 8-hour strike", with 5 days of mobilization and demonstrations on a territorial and regional basis, starting from November 17. "A path consistent with what we asked for." This is what the general secretary of the UIL, Pierpaolo Bombardieri, said at a press conference with the general secretary of the CGIL, Maurizio Landini, in view of the strikes that start next week. On the merits, says Bombardieri, "there is no increase in payroll, the cut in the tax wedge intervenes while maintaining the status quo. The resources for the public sector are not enough, there are wrong choices on health, no answer to the problem of safety at work after so many meetings with the government and so many statements of principle. No action is being taken to combat tax evasion. On pensions, the Ape sociale, the women's option and Quota 103 are worsening."

"It's a strike to change the budget law and the government's economic and social policies. Today is the time to react, to put our proposals in place and indicate a perspective for the country." This was stated by the General Secretary of the CGIL, Maurizio Landini, at a press conference with the General Secretary of the UIL, Pierpaolo Bombardieri, in view of the 5 days of strikes and mobilizations, starting from November 17, decided by the two unions. "Ours is not a protest that ends with the Budget law, there are issues that remain: the renewal of contracts, tax reform, the labor market and precariousness, pensions. If they don't listen to us now, it's not December that we're going on vacation," Landini warns. "The majority of this country does not agree with the policies of this government, we are not defending a part but the majority of this country. That's why we think it's time" to mobilize and strike, "if not now, when? Let's go to the streets to defend everyone's rights," Landini said.
