"The Reality Factory: Journalism and Information in the Age of Generative AI" is the title chosen for the fifth edition of the annual ANSA conference dedicated to artificial intelligence. The event is scheduled for next Thursday, November 23, 2023 in Rome, at the MAXXI Auditorium Museum, in via Guido Reni 4/a, starting at 16 p.m., and will be streamed from the home page of the ANSA website.

Generative artificial intelligences are among us: powerful and accessible like never before, in just a few months they have captured the attention of global audiences, exciting and worrying as they promise to transform every sector of human activity. The information industry is no exception, and is now wondering how to seize the opportunities and respond to the challenges posed by this new technology, which may still be immature, but which is apparently destined to evolve enormously in the medium and long term. The question then is: what will be the role of AI in the future of information and journalism?
