Highlights: A 2-year-old girl, among the 43 castaways rescued by the patrol boats of the Harbour Master's Office at Capo Ponente in Lampedusa, died on the rescue unit. The little girl died while the patrol boat was taking her, together with the other survivors, to the port. On the other hand, the two very young people rescued by. the fishermen, father and son, are in the island's outpatient clinic. They are being cared for at the hospital in CapoPonente.
