For 20 weeks a year, employees of Luxottica plants will work four days, remaining free from Friday to Sunday, while for all other weeks they will remain 5 working days. This is the experimental agreement signed by Filctem Cgil, Femca Cisl and Uiltec Uil and the RSU as part of the new supplementary company contract. It involves all the workers of the plants in Agordo, Sedico, Cencenighe Agordino, Pederobba, Lauriano (Turin) and Rovereto (Trento), for about 20 thousand employees. This is for the same salary. The trial will be launched on a voluntary basis in some departments and constantly monitored. Five of the 20 Fridays off will be deducted from paid leave, while the other 15 will be in charge of the company. Among other points of the agreement, outgoing workers will be granted part-time work for three years with full contributions and the young people who will take the place of retirees will no longer be hired on a part-time basis, as has been the case so far, but immediately on a full-time basis.
