French fries! French fries! French fries! Or rather: logs! Logs! Logs! Because this Sunday evening, "Les Tuche 4", whose action takes place around the Christmas period, took the lead in the ratings on TF 1. Olivier Baroux's new French comedy starring Jean-Paul Rouve, Isabelle Nanty and Michel Blanc entertained 4.58 million fans of the saga, i.e. 22.7% of the audience and 35.0% of women responsible for purchases under the age of 50. A good score for this feature film with 2.44 million admissions in theaters in December 2021, but the lowest of the franchise on the front page.

France 3 wins the silver medal with the continuation of season 12 of the British series "Vera's Investigations", carried by Brenda Blethyn. The evening's premiere attracted 3.45 million viewers (16.6% audience share), even managing to gain 150,000 viewers compared to its return to the air a week earlier!

Virginie Efira's "Face-Cachée Interview" didn't work miracles

Third place goes to M 6 with a new issue of its economic magazine "Capital", presented by Julien Courbet. The show focused on bargains on home décor and household appliances attracted 2.16 million consumers, representing 11.0% of the audience and 16.7% of housewives under the age of 50. Less so than for fraud, which the program was looking at two weeks ago.

At the foot of the podium, France 2 bet on new cinema. The French drama "Waiting for Bojangles" by Régis Roinsard, starring Virginie Efira, Romain Duris and Grégory Gadebois, attracted 2.11 million viewers (10.8%). A decent result after filling 560,000 seats in cinemas when it was released in January 2022.

In the aftermath, the second issue of "L'Interview face cachée", in which Hugo Travers, alias "Hugo Décrypte", welcomed Virginie Efira, did not work miracles. Only 621,000 French people (6.4%) were interested in the interview, a far cry from the 1.85 million that followed Thomas Pesquet's interview on a Saturday afternoon at the end of October.

Among the other channels, Arte is doing well, but not very well. For example, Steven Spielberg's American sci-fi film "Minority Report", starring Tom Cruise, attracted 772,000 moviegoers (4.1%).
