Not boring, just delicious: the pancakes that will beat Hanukkah - voila! food

2023-12-06T04:27:20.318Z

Highlights: Lentil and chard pancakes will resonate well even after the last candle is extinguished. These pancakes combine excellent black lentils with chard leaves in the mixture (only the green part, of course), and all this with a specially invested yogurt sauce. Cook the lentils in a saucepan with water for about 10 minutes until they soften slightly but are still firm. Mix all the pancake ingredients well. Form small pancakes and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side. Serve the pancakes warm with the sauce on top or side.

Lighting candles properly requires at least one more type of pancake, along with the well-known ones with potatoes (their dignity rests in their place). These pancakes, which combine excellent black lentils with chard leaves in the mixture (only the green part, of course), and all this with a specially invested yogurt sauce, will resonate well even after the last candle is extinguished.
