"Agreement on voluntary redundancy signed". This was jointly announced by Filt Cgil, Fit Cisl, Uiltrasporti and Ugl Trasporto Aereo at the end of the joint examination provided for by procedure 223 for the reduction of Alitalia's employees under extraordinary administration and Alitalia city Liner, explaining that "as a result the forced sending of dismissal letters has been blocked".
"The agreement is mainly affected by those who meet pension requirements in the next 2 years, but also those who, although they do not meet the pension requirements, will voluntarily communicate that they want to be placed in Naspi, which is 80% integrated by the Extraordinary Air Transport Fund. Interested parties must express their interest by 20 December."
"With this agreement," the unions continue, "we confirm the request made to the Government to extend the CIGS to the entire 2024/2025 period to allow the recovery of all staff not affected by voluntary redundancies."
