It was a battle to the last note, the one staged tonight for the final of X Factor 2023 and which saw Sarafine triumph. The four contestants, Maria Tomba and Sarafine for Fedez's team on the one hand and Il Solito Dandy and the Stunt Pilots for Dargen D'Amico's team on the other, faced each other on the stage of the X Factor Arena to the sound of 'workhorses', excellent duets and, finally, unreleased songs.
The fate of the last clash was decided over the course of three rounds and only by the vote of the public, after the heated confrontation of the last few weeks between the judges Fedez, Ambra Angiolini and Dargen D'Amico, all present again this evening but as simple 'spectators', in addition to Morgan, before his removal from one of the most famous tables of the Sky screens.
If the evening was inaugurated by the duet between the presenter Francesca Michielin (who during the final also presented her unreleased 'Solite chiacchiere') and the super guest Gianni Morandi ("great, you have all won and you are very strong" said the singer with a 60-year career, 53 million records sold and an unscheduled medley), during the first round, the four remaining contestants performed in a seamless carousel, each with a musical summary of the songs that marked their path within X Factor 2023.
For the second heat, the protagonists were the duets. Maria Tomba took the stage with M18/<>SS KETA. International duet was chosen for Sarafine who performed with the French electronic music duo Ofenbach, while Il Solito Dandy welcomed Francesco Gabbani on stage.
A duet in the name of rock'n'roll, the one that saw the Stunt Pilots as protagonists, who for the final of X Factor met the electric guitar and the poetry turned to rock by Omar Pedrini, for the occasion grappling with 'Sole spento' by his Timoria and who will soon also celebrate the tenth anniversary of 'Che ci vado a fare a Londra', the solo album of the artistic rebirth, with an event at the Magazzini Generali in Milan, on January <>th.
On the unreleased front, then, the finalists proposed their songs, already available on digital platforms. Maria Tomba sang her 'Crush', Sarafine sang 'Malati di gioia', Il Solito Dandy revived 'Solo Tu' and the Stunt Pilots played the notes of 'Imma Stunt'. Only at the end of the heats was the ranking that determined Sarafine's victory announced
