  • 150 g butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla, ground
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 220 g wheat flour
  • 120 g almonds, blanched and ground
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 150 g dark chocolate as decoration

The preparation is not difficult, thanks to this step-by-step guide:

  • Mix the butter with the powdered sugar and salt until creamy. Stir in the egg.
    Add vanilla and orange zest. Mix the flour with the almonds and stir in.
    Finally, add the cream. If the dough is too firm, add a little more cream.
  • Pour the dough into a piping bag with a star nozzle or turn it in small portions through a meat grinder with a special attachment. Place the biscuits in any shape on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 200 °C top/bottom heat for ten minutes until light brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
  • Melt the couverture over a bain-marie or in the microwave. Decorate pointed pastries with it. Allow to dry.
