The 67-year-old professor who killed three colleagues and wounded a fourth in a shooting at the University of Nevada yesterday had a "target list" at the college and 150 rounds of ammunition. The police said so.
Sheriff Kevin McMahill explained at a news conference that the targets on Anthony Polito's list also included faculty members at East Carolina University in North Carolina, where he had been a professor from 2001 to 2017.
"None of the individuals on the list were hit," police added. Before the shooting, Polito had also sent 22 letters to professors at various universities in the United States, and at least one of the envelopes contained an unknown white powder.
