Adva Dadon's stunt with Avigdor Kahalani on Saturday afternoon on Channel 12 News may have been a brilliant journalistic move, but it was out of place. Dadon prepared a deadly ambush for him, the kind he did to Syrian tanks in the Beka Valley 50 years ago.
And that's how the man with the Medal of Valor found himself in a braking battle against a feminist warrior with a knife between her teeth, who carefully planned the battle. The presenter showed him an article about the heroism of the armored vehicles on Black Saturday, made him say "cannons" about them, and immediately mentioned that he had said that it was a woman's job to be a mother and therefore he opposed the integration of women in tanks. After he denied, she played a recording of his remarks and demanded remorse from him.

"She ambushed me now," he snarled on air, squirming in an attempt to defend himself.
Was it right in the current timing to perform such cruel shaming on a 79-year-old boomer, and how did it help improve the status of women in the military? Kahalani is too convenient a target, and its destruction was done for ratings purposes only.
