After an autumn of news and successes, between the worldwide release of the album of unreleased songs Anime Parallele and the recent recognition as Latin Recording Academy Person Of The Year 2023, Laura Pausini returns live five years after her last world tour: anticipated by the marathon #Laura30, three special performances in 24 hours in three cities around the world, and two previews in Venice and Seville, the tour kicked off on December 8 at the sold-out Rimini Stadium. On the setlist, the great hits of thirty years of career and songs from the new album: over two hours of music for 37 songs, 15 of which are enclosed in four medley moments.
In an atmosphere dominated by pink, the show starts with The First Step on the Moon, then Durare, A Good Beginning and a rock medley with All the Times, Half-Phrases, I Sing and An Emergency of Love. The artist then opens the doors of his most intimate sphere by giving the audience another medley, on the notes of Celeste, written before the birth of her daughter Paola and dedicated to herself and to women who want a child, Our daily love and In front of us. This was followed by Resta in ascolto, Anime Parallele and the historical Tra te e il mare and Se non fosse mai stato amore. Next to Laura on stage, a band of 7 musicians and 4 choristers, with the musical direction of Paolo Carta, and a corps de ballet to accompany the performances, with the artistic direction of Luca Tommassini. In the second block there is Box, E ritorno da te, and then two more medleys, Limpido, Surrender, Con la musica alla radio and then Non è detto, Lato destro del cuore, Non ho mai smesso and In assenza di te, on the notes of which a solo dancer performs an unpublished Bolero by Ravel. Then it's the turn of Welcome, Similar and The Things You Live. After a reflection dedicated to the battle against violence against women, it is the turn of Io sì (Seen), the soundtrack of the film The Life Ahead and with which Laura won a Golden Globe and received an Oscar nomination. Here the stage is tinged with red, as well as the custom-made dress made for Laura by Valentino, with a touching choreography that symbolically closes with the universal gesture to ask for help against violence against women.
This was followed by Vivimi and Sorella Terra and Zero. After two historic hits such as Incancellabile and Strani Amori, the show ends with La solitudine, the song from which it all began, before the encore with Il primo passo sulla luna. The tour - organized and produced by Friends & Partners, will take the artist to perform in the most prestigious sports halls in Italy, Europe, Latin America and the United States, with the last stop on April 6, 2024 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
