It's donut season!
Many people are enjoying the sweet pastries these days.
However, one fan lost his appetite after cutting open several copies.
St. Florian - doughnuts, donuts, pancakes, kreppel, puffles: the sweet specialty, which is found in bakeries especially during the carnival season, has many names.
Many variants.
And lots of calories too.
The information varies: the Zöttl bakery, for example, states the calorie count of the standard donut with apricot jam as 368 on its homepage.
Many people can't get enough of the treat.
However, a user who vented his anger in a Facebook group is fed up with donuts.
The Eurospar customer was extremely dissatisfied with the amount of jam.

Most fans probably wouldn't think twice about the next step and would immediately absorb one to four of them.
But the Facebook user had a suspicion - possibly after the first one or two: Was there some saving on jam?
He wanted to know exactly and apparently cut open several doughnuts.

He labels the photo as the jam yield of four donuts.
It remains unclear whether the picture actually shows the bottoms of four donuts or simply two cut donuts.
In any case, the customer finds the filling very poor.

“I can only agree” and “That’s really little,” it says in the comments.
Several people advise complaining to the bakery chain.
This is the Reichl company, which also sells its pastries via Eurospar.
It also remains unclear whether their donuts are always so meagerly filled or whether this is an exceptional case within the framework of normal fluctuations.
Also whether the customers want it exactly that way - more jam means more mess.
Other locals - since this is a local group, most of them probably come from St. Florian in Upper Austria or the surrounding area - promptly exchange ideas about where the tastiest donuts can be found.
“The best ones are at Jindrak and Brandl,” they say.
“The best pastries are also available at Bäcker Zitterl”.
One user has great hope that the disappointed customer will contact the bakery.
“Maybe there will be more jam in the future.” If there is too little jam in the doughnut, many fans probably won't understand the joke.
