"When the declared incomes rise in a much more transparent and collaborative relationship with the world of business and VAT numbers, it is our firm commitment to say that we must lower the rates. We did it in 2024, we will have to also do in 2025. Also taking into account that the current 3-rate mechanism penalizes the middle classes: therefore
we want to lower taxation for the middle classes"

"The implementation of the tax reform is in line with the objectives of the Pnrr, which include, among other things, the creation of an efficient and defined tax system and the reduction of tax evasion".
This was said by the Minister of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti in his greeting at the 7th National Forum of Accountants and Accounting Experts.
"The first phase of the tax reform took shape with the approval of seven legislative decrees between December 2023 and the beginning of this year," he explained.
"In recent months the government has worked intensely and is working intensely on the decrees implementing the tax reform, in coherence with the guidelines contained in the maneuver, which is realistic and responsible, aimed at promoting growth and employment", added Giorgetti .
