Over weeks, the animal builds trust in him and comes in when her need is greatest.
When you hear the story of Chris Thomas and his cat Frances, the first word that probably comes to mind is “fate.”
Because the cat lover and his pet find each other in a rather unusual way.
One day Chris discovers a small cat looking through a hole in his garden fence.
When he approaches her, she runs away.
And returns shortly afterwards.
The beginning of a friendship
Cats sometimes choose their masters.

Chris doesn't repair the hole in the garden fence at first.
He has a feeling: This could be the beginning of a close human-cat friendship.
Instead, he puts food in his garden and waits.
The cat returned - very cautious at first, but becoming bolder day by day and snatching the food.
However, she doesn't want to go into the house at this point.
However, August 25, 2021 was to change life fundamentally for both of them: Frances, as Chris has now named the cat, comes to him with an injury to her ear.

Found new home
Christ takes care of the cat, treats the wound and discovers that Frances is heavily pregnant.
Just two days after Frances turns to Chris for help, she gives birth to four little kittens right in his house.
From then on, Chris and the little cat family are inseparable.

Chris already has a cat, but decides not to give away Frances or her kittens.
From this day on he lives in the house with six cats and couldn't be happier.
On X he posts excerpts from his cat life.
One detail is particularly nice: his ex-girlfriend cut out the broken spot in the garden fence, and the piece of wooden fence has been hanging over Chris' sofa as a decoration ever since.
He himself says that Frances saved his life.
Without her he would probably no longer be on this earth and no one could convince him that she wasn't an angel.
The cats seem to enrich his life enormously and he will probably never be able to part with them again.
