A large professional training center on renewable energy in Morocco, projects on education in Tunisia, others for accessibility to healthcare in the Ivory Coast: these are "some of the pilot projects" of the Mattei Plan announced by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, in his speech at the Italy-Africa summit underway in the Senate chamber.

Kelany: "Laying the foundations for the right not to emigrate"

"The Italy-Africa conference in Rome is an enormous diplomatic success for President Meloni. The non-predatory and equal cooperation project with African countries takes shape, translating the Mattei Plan for Africa into concrete actions that will give rise to a new paradigm : centrality of the Mediterranean on the geopolitical chessboard, opportunities for mutual growth and new horizons of stability. This process was triggered by Giorgia Meloni and the hope is that it will become a European project. Let us begin to lay solid foundations to guarantee Africans the sacrosanct right to not to emigrate and to be able to enjoy the enormous riches that Africa holds and which are unfortunately aimed at by that part of the world that it intends to continue to exploit".

This was declared by MP Sara Kelany, head of the Immigration department of Fratelli d'Italia.
