Hardly any other plants spread such a spring atmosphere like early bloomers.
Tulips, daffodils and crocuses can still be planted in February.
As soon as the winter and Christmas decorations have disappeared, you can slowly prepare your house and garden for spring.
In the latter location, the first early bloomers appear from March onwards and can still be planted in January and February.

In February, nature finally wakes up from hibernation.
In addition to the witch hazel and Christmas roses, the first early bloomers are finally sprouting in the garden.
Anyone who missed planting flower bulbs last year can do so.
Please note the following tips:
Choose a day when the ground is not frozen.
The soil must be loose.

that you have stored the bulbs correctly over the winter: cool, dry and airy to avoid mold formation and pest infestation.
If the onions are damaged, they can no longer be used.
Rely on pre-grown plants.
Normally flowers like crocuses require a cold stimulus to bloom.
If you only plant them in February, this may no longer be enough.
Buying pre-grown plants from a garden center avoids this problem.
The pre-grown plants can be transplanted into the garden as normal.
Do not plant the bulbs too deeply in the soil.
The further to the surface you put them, the easier it is for them.
However, keep in mind that animals have easier prey this way.
With a planting depth of three to five centimeters you are on the safe side.
