"We face a great team and we will need the classic perfect match."
Filippo Inzaghi, coach of Salernitana, said this when presenting the match against Roma in a press conference.
"It's nice - says Inzaghi - to find Daniele De Rossi on the bench he's always dreamed of, and I wish him good luck. Roma with the new coach has changed something but I'm focused on my team. We have nothing to lose but we have everything to gain, I am convinced that we will have a great match hoping that this time the result will reward us. We are playing at home again in front of our people and we have a great opportunity to achieve a feat."
Inzaghi remains confident despite the ranking: "The applause of the fans before the match against Genoa surprised me because people don't give anything away so they demonstrated that they recognized the right spirit of the team in these last matches and it was a shame not to have given a victory to all of them. After the last match we were disappointed with the result because the crowd deserved a victory but we left even more convinced. The boys are training very well and I think we are ready to have a great victory. We must continue on the path of playing and of the fight as in the last matches".
For the Salernitana coach it is necessary "to move forward with what we are doing by changing the outcome of the scores but not the performances. We played a good match against Genoa and deserved a positive result. The results of others must not bring us down but must stimulate us to do more and more.
We have won two matches up to this moment but last year at this time there were four victories so the difficulties have always been there. Next week we will get many important players back, this month there have been a lot of absences feel. The team has always been there from the point of view of desire and play, I am convinced that if the performances continue to be like this sooner or later the situation will turn in our favor also from the point of view of results".
