Domenicantonio Vellega was stunned but still alive when his ex-wife and her new partner, on the evening of March 3, 2022, after having injured him, placed him in a car which was then set on fire: this is the gruesome discovery made by the Carabinieri of Castello di Cisterna ( Naples) during the investigations, coordinated by the Nola Prosecutor's Office, which led to the arrest of MM and FM, aged 39 and 51 respectively, now both accused of aggravated murder.
The two phases of the serious murder, according to what was ascertained by the investigators, took place between Acerra and Marigliano, in the Neapolitan area.
In Acerra, in via Torricelli, the Fiat600 was found with Vellega's charred corpse inside.
The man was instead stunned at the woman's house in Marigliano, where he lived with his accomplice, her partner.
The military's investigations also made it possible to exclude the initial hypothesis of suicide.
The two suspects were locked up in the prisons of Naples Poggioreale and Pozzuoli.
