The Feroz Awards gala, held last Friday in Madrid, produced a cascade of statements and messages on networks and on the red carpet against sexual violence.
From the Minister of Culture, Ernest Urtasun, and the Vice President Yolanda Díaz, to actresses like Aitana Sánchez Gijón, Jedet, Carolina Yuste or María Botto;
and actors such as Hugo Silva, Alberto Ammann, Berto Romero or Brays Efe, and filmmakers such as Elena Martín Gimeno, Clara Roquet, Juan Antonio Bayona or Isabel Coixet, expressed their solidarity with the women who were allegedly attacked by Carlos Vermut.
But these displays of support contrasted with the silence on the matter that was maintained on the stage of the Feroz awards gala.
