» This is how singer Céline Dion announced this Tuesday on Instagram the release of a documentary on her life, and particularly on her fight against the rare neurological disease from which she suffers.
“I am: Céline Dion” will be broadcast worldwide on Prime Video, Amazon confirms on X.
The singer revealed in December 2022 that she suffered from Moersch and Woltman syndrome, most often called “stiff man syndrome”.
A disease that notably causes muscle spasms, which affects his ability to walk and sing.
“The journey from discovering my illness to learning how to live with it and manage it, but not letting it define me” has been a challenge, she wrote on Instagram.
This illness which causes muscle spasms forced her to cancel all of her concerts for 2023 as well as those planned until April 2024.

“As I get back to my career, I realize how much I missed being able to see my fans,” continues Céline Dion in her short press release, written in English and French.
During my absence, I wanted to document this part of my life to raise awareness of this little-known disease and help people who share this diagnosis.
