Except that everything was fraudulent: the waste indicated as coming from a demolition site was in fact a cocktail of rubble, but also the contents of family trash, the transporter supposedly specializing in garbage was a fake company... And of course, the bill of around 7,000 euros was never paid.

On the “way notes”, a sort of identity papers for the cargo, appeared the name of David Demeter.
Waste professionals could have raised eyebrows: Fnade, the professional union, had alerted its members the previous year to a scam set up by another Mr. Demeter, Johnny by his first name.
