General Motors closes the fourth quarter with a profit up 5% to 2.1 billion dollars and revenues stable at 42.98 billion.
However, operating profit fell by 54% due to the strike called by the metalworkers' union and losses linked to electric vehicles.
For 2024, GM expects a higher profit in light of the decline in losses on electric vehicles and the company's recovery from the long strike that slowed production.
