This simple dessert made from exotic fruits and mascarpone will impress your guests.
The mango cream is easy to prepare and only requires a few ingredients.
Desserts with exotic fruit are always very grateful: in winter the fruits from distant countries provide a welcome change from apples and pears from storage, in summer mango, passion fruit etc. with their sweet and sour taste offer a freshness like no other fruit.
Since they don't usually end up on the table every day, guests are usually happy to receive a little greeting from the tropics for dessert.
This mango cream is not only easy to prepare, it also tastes delicious on your own sofa and can be quickly prepared at the end of the day.
Ingredients for the mango cream with passion fruit topping
For the dessert with mangoes and passion fruits, you should definitely buy fully ripe fruits.

For 4 people you need:
2 mangoes
1 organic lemon
300g mascarpone
100 g sour cream
2 passion fruits or passion fruits
When buying, look for fully ripe fruits as they have a lot of flavor and natural fructose.
You can also use a trick to let mangoes ripen so that they become softer.
Passion fruits are ripe when they have slightly wrinkled skin, while passion fruits remain smooth and are bright yellow.
If the fruit is too sour, you can add a little brown sugar.
If the mascarpone cream cheese is too fatty for you, you can replace it with Greek yogurt.

Recipe for the mango cream – the preparation
Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh lengthwise along the stone.
Dice one mango and puree the other finely with a hand blender or in a food processor.
Grate the zest of the lemon and squeeze out the juice of half a lemon.
Mix the mascarpone and sour cream with the pureed mango and lemon zest.
Season with lemon juice.
Divide the mango cubes between four glasses, alternating with the mango cream.
Halve the passion fruit and add the flesh of one half to the mango cream as a topping.
Garnish with mint if desired.
