You can bake these chocolatey brownies in just 30 minutes

  • While the oven is preheating to 175 degrees top and bottom heat, melt 180 grams of the dark chocolate together with the butter over a water bath.

After the chocolate-butter mixture has cooled slightly, stir in the oil.

Meanwhile, beat the eggs with the white and brown sugar and a pinch of salt in a large mixing bowl until fluffy.

  • In the next step, the flour, baking cocoa and baking powder are mixed together in a separate bowl.

Mix the dry ingredients and the chocolate-butter mixture with the sugar-egg foam in the large bowl to form a smooth, lump-free dough.

  • Roughly chop the remaining 80 grams of dark chocolate and mix into the dough.

Grease the baking pan with a little butter or oil.

Pour the dough into the greased mold and smooth it out.

Now put the brownies in the middle rack of the preheated oven and let them bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.

After taking them out, the brownies should still be a little soft in the middle of the cake, but not too wobbly, let alone runny, when you gently shake the pan.

  • Allow to cool completely, then carefully remove from the mold.

Optionally garnish with a little powdered sugar.

    Bon appetit!

  • A scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream goes particularly well with the chocolatey brownies.

Served with fresh, sweet and sour berries, the dessert's taste is wonderfully rounded off.
