Three people have been killed by Israeli forces in a hospital in the West Bank, the Palestinian National Authority has announced.
Israeli forces killed the three on Tuesday morning inside the Avicenna hospital in Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced.
“Three martyrs (were) killed by the occupation forces inside the Avicenna hospital,” the ministry wrote.
In a joint statement, the Israeli army, internal security and police said that in the operation in Jenin "3 terrorists" who were hiding in the local hospital were killed, indicating that the first was "Mohammed Jalamneh, a terrorist of Hamas" who "planned an attack inspired by October 7". The other two are - according to the same source - Mohammed Ghazawi "an operative of the
Jenin Battalions" and his brother "Basel Ghazawi, of the Islamic Jihad".
A video released on the web and filmed by the Israeli media shows some of the IDF commandos apparently also disguised as doctors or Palestinian women.
