After the long cold period, it's time to clean the windows again.
If you follow a few simple tips, things will be a little easier.
When it gets milder outside again, it's time to clean your windows.
However, you'd better choose a day when the weather is cloudy.
The Window + Facade Association (VFF) explains why in a statement: “Grey hours on cool days are not nice, but they are good for cleaning windows.
Because in the sun, the water on the window panes evaporates relatively quickly and can then leave spots and streaks on the glass.”

It shouldn't be too sunny.

Tips for cleaning windows after the cold days
Especially in winter, stubborn dirt can get stuck on the window, which is sometimes difficult to remove, as the experts emphasize.
In such cases it is very important not to use blades when cleaning, but rather to use a little more water.
“This avoids scratches and the glass remains undamaged.”
A clean cloth, lukewarm water and soap are enough
According to the association, all you need to clean glass surfaces is a clean, soft cloth, lukewarm water and a pH-neutral soap.
“If necessary, commercially available glass cleaners without abrasive substances can be added to the water,” says the VFF.
Then you should rinse sufficiently with clear water.
