The "next star" contestant has been marked as the favorite to represent Israel in the European singing competition, and will try to advance another step in the semi-finals of the successful reality show.

A star is born:

Eden Golan made history already in her first audition, when she achieved a result of 100%.

Even then she was marked as a prominent contestant, and now she will try to qualify for the finals of "The Next Star" (tomorrow after the news, Keshet 12).

She will face Mika Moshe, Dor Shimon and Shai Tamino.

Or Cohen is already in the final, and three more will qualify from this semi-final.

"The truth is, I did feel the good reactions after the first audition and it really warmed my heart," she says.

"I admit that it was beyond all our expectations and it is not obvious, the amount of love and messages I received. I must have done people good in these difficult times."

Everyone was enthusiastic about you, and at the same time a very great expectation was created.

Did it work for you or against you?

"I had mixed feelings about it. On the one hand it put me in a high place that I constantly want to reach, and on the other hand I also expect myself to give the best in every performance. It was amazing but also stressful, but pressure is not always a bad thing, Because it brings out the best in me, sides that I didn't see in me. In my eyes, pressure is a positive thing because it lights a fire in me and makes me better."

At what age did you realize that this was the field you wanted to pursue?

"I think from the age of 9 I knew that this was my goal and this is the field I want to work in and also represent Israel. No matter what, no one will break me, will not move me, and I will not leave this world until I succeed in making all my dreams come true."

"Comparisons to Beyoncé"

What's on your dream list?

"One of the current dreams is to represent our country at Eurovision and to do us honor. Let them see who we are, what kind of country we are, and convey a message that we are here to stay. In general, regarding my career, I will start from Israel to do good to the people here, because the atmosphere here is like a family. When you perform in Israel it's like singing with your friends, and through Israel the big dream is to conquer the whole world."

It was decided that this year part of the song will be in Hebrew, and so far you have only performed in English.

What do you think of the decision?

"In my eyes, it's very important, and I'm happy about this decision. It doesn't have to be an entire song in Hebrew, but it must be in Hebrew to convey a message this year, and that's perfect. If I choose, I'll work the hardest, and it will be without an accent and without mistakes."

Which female singers are you compared to?

"I received comparisons to Beyoncé because of my desire and motivation to succeed, and Eden Hasson said I reminded him of Celine Dion - wow!".

What do you think of the other contestants?

"There is nothing about them. They are amazing. They are all talented and bring a special color. We are one big family since the beginning of the season and I am also in contact with those who are not in the competition."

If you win and represent Israel, what would you like to bring to the stage?

"Power and emotion, and I really hope that I will be able to touch the souls of the people."
