That's how quickly you can fry the light apple buttermilk pancakes in the pan
First, peel the apple, remove the core and grate it coarsely.
To make the dough, separate both eggs.
Beat the egg whites (optionally with a pinch of salt) in a tall mixing bowl using a hand mixer until stiff.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the egg yolk with the agave syrup.
Gradually pour in the buttermilk.
Separately mix the flour with the baking powder and sift into the bowl.
Also add the grated apple to the dough and finally carefully fold in the beaten egg whites.
Heat some butter or neutral oil in a large pan and fry your pancakes (about two tablespoons of batter each) one at a time.
The small pancakes are fried until golden for about two minutes and then turned over to the other side and browned for two minutes.
Garnish with a little powdered sugar or agave or maple syrup.
Bon appetit!
If you want it to be light and fluffy, add a splash of buttermilk to the dough when baking.
This is also the case with the simple buttermilk cake with a refreshing lemon aroma.
