Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun today had a video call with his Russian counterpart Serghei Shoigu, urging the armies of the two sides to "continuously expand practical cooperation and push military-to-military relations to a higher level".
This can be read in a note from Beijing's Defense Department, according to which Shoigu replied that Moscow "is willing to collaborate with China to innovate in the fields and methods of bilateral military cooperation and to push relations between the two countries and the two armies to new levels".
