A facility used by Islamic Jihad for the production of combat vehicles was destroyed by the army during ongoing operations in the western sector of Khan Yunis.
This was announced by the military spokesman.
The facility produced long-range rockets, anti-tank missiles, mines and explosive devices.
Israeli forces also destroyed a tunnel that ran through the nearby area and ''thus dealt a significant blow to the Islamic Jihad's capabilities to produce rockets''.
Explosive devices stored in UNRWA bags, the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees, were also found in the tunnel.
Meanwhile today the military spokesman in Arabic Avichay Adraee renewed the eviction orders for residents in several neighborhoods located in the western sector of Gaza City.
The inhabitants of the Nasser, Sheikh Radwan, Shati, Sabra, Sheikh Ajlin and Tel el-Hawa neighborhoods are asked to reach the 'humanitarian zone' in Deir el-Ballah, in the southern sector of the Strip, via the coastal road as soon as possible.
