In the whole of 2023, advertising revenue in Italy for Mfe-Mediaset grew by 2.1% and at group level for this year "we confirm that we will exceed 200 million in profits" without contributions from Germany.
This was stated by the CEO of Mfe-Mediaset, PierSilvio Berlusconi.
Regarding Rai Way and the hypothesis of a merger with EiTowers, of which Mediaset holds 40%, "beyond the specific needs of Rai, selling an asset piecemeal little by little is not the best solution, it seems to me that the investment funds should also think this way", adds Pier Silvio Berlusconi in a meeting with the press on digital development.
"We have wanted the merger between Ei towers and Rai way for years, not for the good of Mediaset but for the system: we need to create the Italian champion of towers", explains the managing director of Biscione.
On Prosieben the position of Mfe-Mediaset is "quite worried: the German economy is doing badly, advertising is worse, Prosieben's collection is even worse. We need to move, we need to move...", adds Pier Silvio Berlusconi regarding the German media group of which Mfe-Mediaset is largely the largest shareholder with almost 30% of the voting rights.
