Tuesday January 30, 2024 will remain engraved in the annals of the Jordanian royal family, marking the double birthday of King Abdullah II, who is celebrating his 62nd birthday, and of his youngest son, Prince Hashem, blowing out his 19th birthday, father and son being born on the same day.
A coincidence which sparked festivities and warm messages throughout the kingdom.
Firstly, that of the wife of the King of Jordan and mother of the young prince, Queen Rania.
As usual, the 53-year-old sovereign shared this special event with her 10.3 million subscribers on Instagram.

She first published a photo of herself alongside her husband, King Abdullah II.
Both pose in front of the camera, accomplices, in simple t-shirts, she in white, he in black.
“Every day with you is a blessing!
Happy birthday, Your Majesty,” wrote the Queen of Jordan of Palestinian origin.
“Happiness every day”
A few hours later, Queen Rania shared another photo, this time spotlighting her youngest child, Hashem.
In a black and white portrait, the young prince radiates youth.
“I remember that day like it was yesterday!
I was overjoyed when you arrived...and you still bring me happiness every day.
Happy birthday."
Married since June 10, 1993, Abdallah II and Rania of Jordan are also the parents of Prince Hussein (born June 28, 1994), but also of Princesses Iman (born September 27, 1996) and Salma (born September 26, 2000).
Last year, the marriage with great fanfare of the eldest of the siblings, Hussein, main heir to the throne, with the Saudi Rajwa al-Saif attracted the attention of the whole world.
