A forty-seven year old originally from Eastern Europe was arrested by the Carabinieri of the Assisi company for sexual violence against a minor.
The man, stuck in Rome, was found to be linked to the family by "parental ties" as well as a neighbor.
A precautionary measure was carried out against him in prison ordered by the investigating judge of the Umbrian capital.
The Perugia Prosecutor's Office reports that the investigations started from a complaint presented to the police at the end of last year by the child's mother after her daughter confided to her that she had suffered repeated sexual harassment that began four-five years before her.
