The fans are stamping with impatience, and these few images distilled in dribs and drabs should (or not) temper their ardor.
Netflix unveiled this Thursday the trailer for the second season of “Squid Game”, a successful South Korean series which was one of the most popular on the platform.
The release is planned for 2024, without further details.
A dark and violent South Korean denunciation of the excesses of capitalism, it features candidates who kill each other during cruel children's games in the hope of winning millions.
Four days after it went online, in September 2021. “Squid Game” was placed number 1 in the world's top Netflix series, a place it has held for a long time, unheard of for a Korean fiction.

During the ninth and final episode of the first season, Seong Gi-hun, the main character, ends up winning the game after an incredible outcome, which will see him gain the upper hand against his childhood friend Cho Sang-Woo .
Gi-hun is then returned to real life, the bank account filled with the 45.6 billion won he won.
But we discover at the very end of the series that he did not receive this sum, and resumed his previous miserable life.
